Quintessenz der internationalen Exlibris-Literatur; Quintessence of the international Bookplate Literature

Who knows how many mono-graphs, magazines and magazine articles on the subject of bookplates are really in existence? Although the “database of the international bookplate literature” (bibi.kfstock.at) currently contains 63750 entries, the actual number of exlibris publications is assumed to be more than 120000. But even 63750 entries would already result in a multi-volume print output. It is therefore more sensible and convenient to use the online data-base for researchers and collec-tors in most cases. The present publication is in-tended for exlibrists who want a handy printout that still contains the most important exlibris publications. After all, this “quintessence” still records 3730 literature references.
