Direction-Dependent Result Data Transfer in Virtual Process Chains for Fiber-Reinforced Polymers and the Impact on Structural Simulation

It evaluates decomposition-based methods for second- and fourth-order tensors, focusing on fiber orientation and residual stress. Results show these methods reduce bias and preserve anisotropy better than conventional approaches. New interpolation schemes based on harmonic decomposition ensure admissible and accurate tensor mappings.
